Learning Objectives
Having successfully completed this course, students will be able to:
- Describe in general terms computing concepts to be taught in the LIKES pathway through the Curriculum for Liberal education (themed core);
- Take LIKES designated courses in the LIKES pathway, with a sufficient background knowledge of computing-related concepts;
- Explain the importance of lifelong learning of computing concepts, and of applying them in the Knowledge Society;
- Broadly discuss the types of problems to which the LIKES-related computing concepts can be applied;
- Develop a plan to solve a problem in a computing project activity, through testing and documentation.
