8:30-9:30 am - Welcome and introduction to LIKES
Introduction of the LIKES vision, mission, and goals – 5 minutes (Ed Fox).
Workshop 1 report (Wingyan Chung) – 10 minutes.
Workshop 2 report (Ed Carr) – 10 minutes.
Example of applied computing concepts (Carlos Evia) – 10 minutes.
Description of goals and process for Workshop 3 (Steve Sheetz/Ed Fox) – 5 minutes.
Group discussion of goals and process (Steve Sheetz/Ed Fox) – 20 minutes.
9:30-11:00 am – Breakout Session 1: Baseline discussion of tools by discipline.
Breakout rooms: New River, Draper's Meadow, Ellett Valley, and Huckleberry.
11:00 am-12:30 pm – Keynote Speech 1 (in Alumni Assembly Hall)

1:30-3:00 pm – Breakout Session 2: Identifying Grand Challenges.
3:00-3:30 pm - Tea break
3:30-5:30 pm – Group Session 1: Learning the grand challenges from the disciplines.
